Legacy, The Producer is a Persian-Canadian independent producer from Vancouver, now living in Toronto. He produces Hip-Hop, Amapiano, and Afrobeats. He loves to incorporate sounds and samples from around the world into modern music— He feels it adds a unique story and cultural representation to the track. Think: Kanye soul samples, but instead of soul he’s incorporating Persian melodies, Arab beats, or Latin vocals.
In April 2024, he released his first musical project ‘From The North, To The North’, in collaboration with legendary Canadian Hip-Hop group ‘The Rascalz’. This project - a free instrumental EP where sampled his favourite mid-2000s Canadian Hip-Hop songs - was released in collaboration with the Parkinson’s Society of British Columbia to raise awareness for Parkinson’s Disease, in honour of his grandfather. This landed him a full news feature on Vancouver’s CityNews. Legacy has also been honoured to be a member of the prestigious VIFF Amp Cohort, where he had the opportunity to connect with major movie studio executives and EA sports music directors to establish himself in the world of sync licensing. Considering he only launched his career in February of 2024, it’s safe to say he has a lot on the horizon.
